My Family Trip in Hong Kong (26th April - 2nd May 2009)

26th April 2009, a day I have been looking forward to as 7 of my family members including my parents, grandparents, brother & sister travelled with Cathay Pacific Airlines from Penang to Hong Kong. The most happiest thing was I were there in the flight together with them, serving them as a crew and not a passenger. The feeling was really different and it feels like I took care of them from Penang to Hong Kong, especially to my grandparents, they are afraid to take flight as they don't know how to read English and speak English, I want to let them know even they don't know anything about taking flight, someone will definitely take care of them from the point of departure until they arrive at their destination, from ground staff until flight attendants on the plane. So NO WORRIES at all, Mama and Yeahyeah!!!
At least now they have experienced it and maybe next time they are brave enough to travel alone, everything needs first step.
I believe they will feel very different and happy seeing someone closed working in the plane, knowing my job nature and working environment, with better understanding. I knew both my brother and sister have been looking forward coming to Hong Kong, they applied few days off from school just to come to Hong Kong and attend my graduation and enjoy Hong Kong, and the weather which they haven't experienced before, it's beginning of Summer now and it's quite cooling. This time was really a perfect time for my family to come here and enjoy, with nice weather, nice timing which I can operate their flight coming to Hong Kong, attend my graduation and visit my company - Cathay City, enjoyed local food and most importantly I was off during the entire period my family were here. I was able to accompany them 24-hourly ... ^_^
We went to several must-go places in Hong Kong like Victoria Peak, Avenue of Stars, Tsim Sar Tsui, Lui Yan Kai (Lady Street), Wong Kok, Causeway Bay & Disneyland. Not missing was tasting the famous Roast Goose at Sam Tzeng ... Yummy and FATTENING .... hahah!!!
Before I forget to mention, my parents and brother traveled in Business Class coming to Hong Kong, my ISM upgraded them to business class owing to full loading in the economy. However, my little brother was too tired and slept the whole flight without really enjoying the service and the environment, what a waste .....
This trip was wonderful for everyone, and I am happy to see SMILES =) on everyone's face!!!
