Central World, the largest lifestyle shopping destination in Bangkok; a one-stop destination for shopping, dining and entertainment. Located in the vibrant center of Bangkok, Thailand, the striking complex covers an expansive 550,000 square meters and is home to over 500 shops and boutiques, over 100 restaurants and dozens of first-class entertainment and recreational outlets. Be it fashion shows, concerts, travel and food fairs, product launches and art exhibitions, Central World is Bangkok's foremost location for the city's premier events and activities. The impressive Central World Square is host to talk-of-the-town events such as the largest New Year countdown in Bangkok, which attracts over 300,000 people each year; the inimitable Elle Fashion Week and concerts by leading artists. Regular art exhibitions and permanent sculptures by world-class artists demonstrate Central World's ongoing commitment to increase art exposure in Bangkok.

But on the 19th May 2010, tragedy had happened and this landmark of Bangkok had become an abandoned building, leaving only memories, memories which pinch the heart of everyone...

Below is my own video, I went there on the 31st May 2010, I couldn't believe that a place where I used to hangout for food and shopping has gone, it felt really sad to be there and saw it myself. 19th May 2010 has been marked as another historic day that people will remember.
